SDR inverter point wiring with changeover switch is Rs 2,500–4,500 labour for single floor, plus 2.5mm fire-retardant wire. Battery trolley earthing included.

Safety rules
Never loop inverter neutral to mains neutral without interlock — it backfeeds NEA line and can kill linemen. SDR installs mechanical interlock and labels every circuit.
